Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A weak trough will persist over the Kimberley and North Interior this week,
while another trough is located over western Pilbara as a ridge develops to the
southwest.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough over the Goldfields, Eucla and eastern Gascoyne will move east slowly
over the next few days. A weak cold front will move across the South West Land
Division on Wednesday morning, followed by another weak front brushing the
south coast on Wednesday night. A ridge will extend over southern WA from
Thursday, as a new trough develops through inland Gascoyne. The trough will
extend into the South West Land Division on Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 29 September
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over central and southern Interior, Eucla,
northern and eastern Goldfields, northeast Gascoyne, and inland Pilbara. Heavy
falls possible over eastern Eucla and South Interior. Light showers over the
western parts of the South West Land Division. Chance of an afternoon shower
about the north and west Kimberley coasts, clearing in the evening.

Forecast for Wednesday 30 September
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the far eastern Goldfields, Interior,
northeast Gascoyne, eastern Pilbara, and Eucla. Light and drizzle showers over
much of the South West Land Division, contracting to the coasts in the evening.
Chance of an afternoon shower about northern and western Kimberley. Possible
morning fog over inland Central West, southwest Gascoyne, eastern parts of
South East Coastal, western Eucla, eastern Goldfields and adjacent South
Interior.

Forecast for Thursday 1 October
Showers and possible thunderstorms over the Interior, Eucla, and Kimberley.
Light showers and drizzle over the southern districts and along the west coast
of the South West Land Division, and about Shark Bay, clearing in the
afternoon. Possible morning fog in the northwest Kimberley, and southern parts
of the South West Land Division. Chance of morning frost across southern parts
of the Central Wheat Belt and western Great Southern. Windy afternoon over the
Gascoyne coast.

Forecast for Friday 2 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the Interior, Goldfields, inland Eucla and
inland Gascoyne. Possible heavy falls through the northern Goldfields, South
Interior and inland Gascoyne. Showers about the Kimberley, Pilbara, inland
parts of Central West and northern parts of the Central Wheat Belt. Possible
morning fog in the northwest Kimberley.

Forecast for Saturday 3 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the Interior, Goldfields, Eucla and far eastern
Gascoyne. Possible heavy falls through the South Interior, Eucla and eastern
Goldfields. Showers about the Kimberley and eastern Pilbara. Possible morning
fog in the northwest Kimberley.
