Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge strengthening over southern parts maintains moderate to fresh east to
southeasterly winds over the region.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure system over waters to the southwest extends a ridge over
southern WA. The ridge will persist through to Friday as the high pressure
centre drifts east. The next cold front is expected to move through the
southwest later Friday.

Chance of a shower about the south coastal fringe.
Forecast for Wednesday 29 July
Chance of a shower along the south coast east of Albany. Patchy morning frost
over the central South West Land Division and southern Goldfields. Possible
morning fog in the Eucla, southern Goldfields, and northern South East Coastal
districts. Windy morning over the northern parts of the state.
Forecast for Thursday 30 July
Chance of a shower over the South West Capes. Patchy morning frost over the
central and inland southern South West Land Division, Goldfields, and South
Interior. Windy morning over the northern parts of the state.
Forecast for Friday 31 July
Showers developing over the South West district during the morning extending to
southwest of a line from Jurien Bay to Hopetoun by late evening. Patchy morning
frost over the eastern South West Land Division, southern Goldfields and South
Interior. Windy morning over the northern parts of the state.
Forecast for Saturday 1 August
Showers southwest of a line from Kalbarri to Eucla, retracting to south coastal
districts in the afternoon. Patchy morning frost in the South Interior.
Possible morning fog over the inland northern South West Land Division. Windy
about the south coast.
