Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge over central Australia maintains a moderate east to southeasterly flow
over most of the north. Winds freshen from Wednesday as a new ridge develops to
the south and strengthens.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge is strengthening over the west coast with a weak cold front moving
along the southeast coast of the state today. The ridge will then move south
and strengthen on Wednesday in the wake of the cold front.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 21 July
Light showers about west coastal parts south of Jurien Bay and along the south
coast, with the chance of a shower over remaining parts southwest of Jurien Bay
to Esperance during the day.

Forecast for Wednesday 22 July
Light showers south of Cape Naturaliste to Forrest. Patchy morning fog and
frosts over southern and central parts of the South West Land Division,
southern Goldfields and western Eucla. Windy over northern and central parts.

Forecast for Thursday 23 July
Chance of light showers over the eastern South West Land Division, southern
Goldfields, southern South Interior and Eucla, clearing later in the day.
Patchy morning fog and frosts over southern and central parts of the South West
Land Division, southern Goldfields and western Eucla. Windy over northern and
central parts.

Forecast for Friday 24 July
Chance of a light shower about the eastern Eucla coast. Patchy morning fog and
frosts over the inland southern and central South West Land Division, southern
Goldfields and Eucla. Windy over northern and central parts.

Forecast for Saturday 25 July
Showers developing southwest of Mandurah to Albany during the morning,
extending to Jurien Bay to Esperance by late evening. Early frost possible over
the inland eastern South West Land Division, and southern Goldfields. Windy
over northern and central parts.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 1:45 am WST Wednesday.
