Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge lies over southern WA with a weak trough near the west Kimberley and
Pilbara coasts.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge over southern parts of the state will remain there until mid next week.
A trough will develop down the west coast from Monday. A cold front will begin
to move over the far southwest of the State late Thursday.
Forecast for the rest of Sunday 12 July
Chance of a shower along the south coast.
Forecast for Monday 13 July
Chance of showers near the south and Eucla coasts. Possible morning fog over
inland parts of the southern and central South West Land Division, southern and
central Goldfields and South Interior. Morning frost possible over southern
parts of the Central Wheat Belt, southern Goldfields and South Interior.
Forecast for Tuesday 14 July
Chance of a shower along the south coast and the Eucla. Morning fog possible
across southern coastal districts, as well as the Great Southern and southern
Goldfields. Morning frost possible over the northern Great Southern and far
southern Central Wheat Belt and southwestern Goldfields.
Forecast for Wednesday 15 July
Chance of a late shower about the Southwest Capes.
Forecast for Thursday 16 July
Showers southwest of Bunbury to Albany during the morning extending to
southwest of Geraldton to Hopetoun by late evening. Chance of thunderstorms
developing along the coast between Jurien Bay and Windy Harbour.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 1:45 am WST Monday.
