Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge lies over southern WA with a weak trough near the west Kimberley and
Pilbara coasts.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge is developing over southern parts of the state and will remain there
until mid next week. A trough will extend down the west coast on Monday.
Forecast for the rest of Saturday 11 July
Isolated showers over southern parts of the South West Land Division, far
southern Goldfields and Eucla, contracting to the south coast by evening.
Forecast for Sunday 12 July
Showers over southern coastal districts. Possible morning fog over most of the
inland parts of the South West Land Division, the southern and central
Goldfields, northern Eucla and southern South Interior. Morning frost possible
over the southwest Goldfields and the adjacent eastern Central Wheat Belt.
Forecast for Monday 13 July
Chance of showers along the south coast. Possible morning fog over inland parts
of the southern and central South West Land Division and the southern and
central Goldfields. Morning frost possible over southeastern parts of the
Central Wheat Belt, northern parts of the Great Southern and the southwestern
Goldfields.
Forecast for Tuesday 14 July
Chance of a shower along the south coast and the Eucla. Morning fog possible
across southern coastal districts, as well as the Great Southern and southern
Goldfields. Morning frost possible for the Great Southern, southern Central
Wheat Belt and southwestern Goldfields.
Forecast for Wednesday 15 July
Chance of a late shower about the Southwest Capes.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 1:45 am WST Sunday.
