Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge lies over central WA with a weak trough near the west Kimberley and
Pilbara coasts. A new ridge will begin to move over southern WA from Friday
evening and will slowly move east over the coming days.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A weak cold front will brush the south coast overnight on Friday. A ridge will
begin to move over southwest WA from Friday evening and will slowly extend east
over the coming days. A trough will extend down the west coast on Monday.
Forecast for the rest of Friday 10 July
Isolated showers southwest of a line Jurien Bay to Caiguna, mainly near the
coast.
Forecast for Saturday 11 July
Isolated showers over southern parts of the South West Land Division, the
southern Goldfields and Eucla, contracting to the south coast by evening.
Morning fog and frost over inland parts of the South West Land Division and the
far western Goldfields.
Forecast for Sunday 12 July
Showers over southern coastal parts. Possible morning fog over inland parts of
the South West Land Division, the southern and central Goldfields, northern
Eucla and southern South Interior.
Forecast for Monday 13 July
Showers along the south coast. Possible morning fog over inland parts of the
South West Land Division and the southern and central Goldfields. Morning frost
possible over southeastern parts of the Central Wheat Belt, northern parts of
the Great Southern and the western Goldfields.
Forecast for Tuesday 14 July
Isolated showers along the Eucla coast. Morning fog possible across southern
coastal districts, as well as the Great Southern and southern Goldfields.
Morning frost possible for the Great Southern, southeastern Central Wheat Belt
and western Goldfields.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 1:45 am WST Saturday.
