Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A weak trough extends along the Kimberley coast and through the west Pilbara
whilst a ridge over central Australia directs east to southeasterly winds over
much of the north. A cloud band will lay over central and eastern parts on
Monday and Tuesday, then drift eastwards.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A weak trough lingers over the inland South West Land Division, decaying
tomorrow as a ridge becomes established over southeastern parts of the state. A
low pressure system and an associated cold front will then intercept the west
coast on Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 6 July
Showers and the chance of a thunderstorm over the far southeast Pilbara,
northeast Gascoyne, northern Goldfields, and adjacent Interior. Chance of
showers over the western and southern Kimberley. Showers easing over the
southern South West Land Division this afternoon.

Forecast for Tuesday 7 July
Showers and the chance of a thunderstorm over the east Pilbara, far northeast
Gascoyne, and the Interior. Chance of showers over remaining parts of the
southern Kimberley, far northern Goldfields, and southern parts of the South
West Land Division. Patchy morning fog in the southern Goldfields and in
central parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Wednesday 8 July
Showers over the southeast Kimberley and northeast Interior. The chance of a
light shower about the southwest capes in the morning, extending to southwest
of a line from Mandurah to Bremer Bay by midnight. Patchy morning fog in the
southern and central South West Land Division and the western Pilbara. The
chance of morning frost in the western Eucla and adjacent districts.

Forecast for Thursday 9 July
Showers southwest of a line from Kalbarri to Esperance. Patchy morning fog in
the northern Lower West, central and southern parts of the South West Land
Division, eastern Eucla, southeast Interior, western Pilbara, and northwest
Gascoyne.

Forecast for Friday 10 July
Showers southwest of a line from Exmouth to Eucla. Patchy morning fog in the
west Pilbara and northwest Gascoyne.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 1:45 am WST Tuesday.
