Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A weak trough extends along the Kimberley coast and through the Pilbara whilst
a ridge over central Australia directs easterly winds over the Kimberley and
Northern Interior. A cloud band will lay over central and eastern parts on
Monday and Tuesday, then drift eastwards.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A cold front is crossing the southwest of the state this afternoon and evening.
The cold front will rapidly weaken as it moves further inland on Monday. A
ridge will then establish over southeastern parts of the state during Tuesday.
Another cold front will brush the far southwest on Thursday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 5 July
Showers southwest of a line from Jurien Bay to Bremer Bay. The chance of a
thunderstorm along the coastal fringe between Perth and Augusta.

Forecast for Monday 6 July
Showers and the chance of a thunderstorm over the far southeast Pilbara,
northeast Gascoyne, and adjacent Interior. Chance of showers over remaining
parts of the western Kimberley, eastern Pilbara and Gascoyne, northern
Goldfields, and Interior. Showers easing over the South West Land Division.
Patchy morning fog over the Goldfields and eastern parts of the South West Land
Division.

Forecast for Tuesday 7 July
Showers and the chance of a thunderstorm over the far east Pilbara and the
Interior. Chance of showers over remaining parts of the southern Kimberley,
eastern Pilbara, northern Goldfields, and southern parts of the South West Land
Division. Patchy morning fog in the southwest Goldfields and in central and
eastern parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Wednesday 8 July
Showers over the southeast Kimberley and North Interior. The chance of a light
shower about the southwest capes in the morning, extending to southwest of a
line from Lancelin to Bremer Bay by midnight. Patchy morning fog in the
southwest Goldfields and in central and eastern parts of the South West Land
Division. The chance of morning frost in the western Eucla and adjacent
districts.

Forecast for Thursday 9 July
Showers southwest of a line from Kalbarri to Esperance. Patchy morning fog in
the central and southern South West Land Division, eastern Eucla, and southeast
Interior.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 1:45 am WST Monday.
