Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge lies across the Gascoyne and Interior, but will move south today and
Friday. A trough will develop over the southern Kimberley and North Interior on
Friday.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge is developing over southern districts today, with a high pressure
centre moving into the Bight on Friday. A cold front will cross the southwest
of the state during Sunday afternoon and evening but rapidly weakens as it
moves further inland on Monday.
Forecast for the rest of Thursday 2 July
Chance of a shower the northern and southern parts of the South West Land
Division, the southern Gascoyne, adjacent Goldfields and Eucla.
Forecast for Friday 3 July
Chance of a shower along the south coast, northern Central West, eastern Great
Southern, southeast Central Wheat Belt, southern Gascoyne, Goldfields, Eucla
and southern South Interior. Showers over the northeast Pilbara northern parts
of the Interior. Possible morning fog over the inland South West district and
adjacent Great Southern. Windy morning across the eastern Pilbara and North
Interior.
Forecast for Saturday 4 July
Light showers about the south coast east of Albany, with the chance of a shower
for the southern Goldfields, Eucla and South East Coastal districts. Showers
for northeastern parts of the Interior and the southeast Kimberley. Possible
morning fog over southern coastal districts east of Walpole and the southern
Goldfields. Windy morning across the Pilbara and Interior.
Forecast for Sunday 5 July
Showers southwest of Bunbury to Walpole in the morning, extending to southwest
of a line Geraldton to Bremer Bay by midnight. Chance of a shower over the
southeast Kimberley. Possible thunderstorms along the coast between Busselton
and Augusta. Windy morning across the North Interior and southern Kimberley.
Forecast for Monday 6 July
Showers easing over the South West Land Division. Chance of showers over the
central and eastern Pilbara, Goldfields, western Interior and Eucla and western
Kimberley. Possible morning fog over the Goldfields.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 1:45 am WST Friday.
