Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A weak ridge lies over the Pilbara and Interior before slipping south on
Wednesday.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A cold front and low pressure system moves over southern WA later today and
during Tuesday. A further front will brush the south coast during Wednesday
before a ridge develops over southern parts of the state from Thursday.
Forecast for the rest of Monday 29 June
Showers over the South West Land Division, most likely southwest of Geraldton
to Albany. Chance of a light shower or drizzle over the southern Goldfields and
southern Gascoyne. Gusty thunderstorms possible along the coast between
Rockingham and Walpole during the evening. Becoming windy about the southwest
coast.
Forecast for Tuesday 30 June
Showers over the South West Land Division, Gascoyne, Goldfields, Eucla,
southern Interior and far west Pilbara. Gusty thunderstorms possible along the
coasts of the South West Land Division and Eucla, extending over the Southeast
Coastal district and southern Goldfields. Possible early fog over the inland
northwest Gascoyne and eastern Interior. Windy about the central and southern
parts of the state
Forecast for Wednesday 1 July
Showers over the South West Land Division, more likely about the coast.
Possible shower over the far southern Gascoyne, southern Goldfields, southern
Eucla and southeast South Interior. Windy near the south coast and over the
Eucla.
Forecast for Thursday 2 July
Showers about the south coast and along the west coast south of Shark Bay.
Chance of a shower over the remaining South West Land Division, southern
Gascoyne, Goldfields and Eucla. Possible early fog over the southwest Gascoyne
and inland northern Central West district.
Forecast for Friday 3 July
Showers about the south and Eucla coasts and over the Interior. Chance of a
shower over southern and eastern parts of the South West Land Division,
Goldfields, remaining Eucla, Kimberley and northeast Pilbara. Possible
thunderstorms over the northeast South Interior and southeast North Interior
districts.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 1:45 am WST Tuesday.
