Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge over southern Australia will maintain east to southeasterly winds
across northern WA during Thursday. A cold front will cross southern and
central WA on Friday before a new ridge extends across the Gascoyne and
southern Pilbara from Saturday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge over southern WA is slowly moving east. A strong cold front will cross
the west coast on Friday, followed by a deep low pressure system which will
move south of the state over the weekend.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 24 June
Cloudy with isolated light showers over the southern Goldfields, Eucla, eastern
parts of the South East Coastal district and far southern parts of the South
Interior.

Forecast for Thursday 25 June
Chance of showers along the Eucla coast. Showers developing west of a line
Busselton to Windy Harbour in the evening. Areas of morning fog over the South
East Coastal district, Goldfields, Eucla and southern parts of the South
Interior. Becoming windy about the southwest coast.

Forecast for Friday 26 June
Rain and showers extending over the South West Land Division, western and
southern Gascoyne, Goldfields, western Eucla and far western Pilbara. Gusty
thunderstorms along the southwest coast of the South West Land Division. Windy
across the western Gascoyne and South West Land Division, very windy about the
southwest coast.

Forecast for Saturday 27 June
Showers southwest of a line from Karratha to Warburton, more frequent across
the South West Land Division. Chance of gusty thunderstorms west of Jurien Bay
to Albany. Windy across southern parts of the state.

Forecast for Sunday 28 June
Showers south of a line from Carnarvon to Giles, more frequent through coastal
parts of the South West Land Division. Isolated light showers over the Pilbara,
central Interior and remaining northern Gascoyne. Chance of thunderstorms along
the south coast between Windy Harbour and Bremer Bay. Windy across southern
parts of the state.
