Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A weak ridge will persist over the northern districts until the weekend, when a
trough will move in from the west.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A cold front over the southeast is making its way east through the Bight, as a
new ridge establishes over the southwest. A low pressure system to the west
extends a cold front that will reach the southwest coast on Sunday morning,
after which the low will deepen off the southwest coast.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 28 May
Showers over the South West Land Division, southern and southwestern Gascoyne,
Goldfields and western Eucla, gradually easing in the afternoon and evening
though extending into remaining parts of the Eucla during the evening. Windy
about the south coast of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Friday 29 May
Light showers or drizzle areas over western and southern parts of the south
West Land Division, southern and southwest Gascoyne and northern Goldfields,
more frequent about the west and south coasts. Chance of morning fog over
inland parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Saturday 30 May
Showers increasing over the southern and southwestern Gascoyne and northwestern
Southern West Land Division, extending south and east into most of the
remaining South West Land Division and central and southern Goldfields during
the afternoon and evening. Chance of a gusty thunderstorm about the coast
between Kalbarri and Cape Leeuwin. Chance of morning fog over southwestern and
southern parts of the South West Land Division and Eucla. Becoming windy over
western parts of the South West Land Division during the afternoon and evening.

Forecast for Sunday 31 May
Showers southwest of about Karratha to Forrest, more frequent over the South
West Land Division and southwest Gascoyne. Chance of gusty thunderstorms about
coastal and adjacent inland parts between Lancelin to Bremer Bay. Very windy
over the South West Land Division, windy over central and remaining southern
parts.

Forecast for Monday 1 June
Showers southwest of about Port Hedland to Warburton, more frequent over
western and southern districts. Chance of gusty thunderstorms about coastal
parts between Perth to Bremer Bay. Very windy over southern parts of the state,
windy over central parts.
