Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough lies over inland parts, pushing offshore from Monday as a ridge moves
south of the State bringing fresh and gusty easterly winds to most parts.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A new ridge will extend over southern WA over the weekend, persisting into next
week.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 16 May
Light showers about coastal parts between Lancelin and Albany, and about the
Eucla coast. Showers possible over the Kimberley. Showers and isolated
thunderstorms over central and eastern Interior.

Forecast for Sunday 17 May
Light showers or drizzle over southwestern parts of the South West Land
Division, southern Interior and eastern Eucla, and developing along coastal
parts of South East Coastal district during the evening. Showers and isolated
thunderstorms over the Kimberley, northern and central Interior, eastern
Pilbara and far northeast Gascoyne. Morning fog possible over the South West
Land Division, southern Goldfields and eastern Eucla. Patchy morning frost
possible through inland areas of the South West Land Division and southwest
Goldfields. Windy, mostly in the morning, over the eastern Pilbara, southwest
Kimberley and north Interior.

Forecast for Monday 18 May
Showers or drizzle about southern coastal parts of the South West Land
Division, extending to adjacent inland parts for a period during the day and
then mostly clearing during the evening. Showers and isolated thunderstorms
over the Kimberley and northeastern Interior. Morning fog possible over
southwestern and central parts of the South West Land Division and eastern
Eucla. Patchy morning frost possible through eastern parts of the Central wheat
Belt and southwest Goldfields. Windy through Pilbara, southwest Kimberley,
North Interior and northern Gascoyne, mostly in the morning.

Forecast for Tuesday 19 May
Showers over the Kimberley, with the chance of a thunderstorm about the
Kimberley coast. Light shower possible about the Eucla coast, clearing during
the afternoon. Morning fog possible over southern parts of the South West Land
Division, southern Goldfields and Eucla. Windy through Pilbara, southern
Kimberley, North Interior and northern Gascoyne.

Forecast for Wednesday 20 May
Showers over the Kimberley, extending into the Pilbara during the day and
possibly reaching the northern Gascoyne by evening. Morning fog possible over
the eastern Eucla. Windy through northern and central parts.
