Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A high pressure system over the Great Australian Bight will maintain east to
southeasterly winds across the northern parts of the state for the next few
days.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure system will move slowly eastwards across the Great Australian
Bight during the next few days. A cold front will approach the southwest on
Wednesday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 10 May
Light showers or drizzle over the Eucla, southeast Goldfields and eastern parts
of the South East Coastal district, contracting to the Eucla in the evening.
Areas of smoke haze across western and southern parts of the South West Land
Division.

Forecast for Monday 11 May
Light showers or drizzle over the Eucla district, contracting to the coast in
the afternoon and clearing by evening. Possible morning fog over the southeast
Goldfields, eastern parts of the South East Coastal, inland Eucla and adjacent
South Interior districts. Windy across eastern Pilbara and southwest Kimberley
in the morning.

Forecast for Tuesday 12 May
Light showers developing about the South West Capes in the late evening.
Possible morning fog over the Eucla and adjacent South East Coastal district.
Windy across eastern Pilbara, southern Kimberley, and North Interior in the
morning.

Forecast for Wednesday 13 May
Showers developing south of a line Bunbury to Albany, extending to south of a
line Lancelin to Hopetoun in the afternoon and evening. Chance of a gusty
thunderstorm south of a line Bunbury to Albany. Afternoon and evening showers
possible across northern and eastern Kimberley. Windy in the afternoon and
evening across southern parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Thursday 14 May
Light showers south of a line Kalbarri to Israelite Bay, more frequent about
the coasts. Afternoon and evening showers possible across northern and eastern
Kimberley.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 1:45 am WST Monday.
