Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough will persist over the Kimberley until Wednesday. A ridge over the west
coast is pushing a southeasterly surge to northern parts of the State. The
ridge will continue to strengthen throughout the week.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge extends over the west coast and into much of central WA. The ridge will
sink to the south coast during Monday and remain the dominant weather feature
throughout the week.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 3 May
Light showers over southern parts of the State, mostly near the south coast.
Chance of a shower or thunderstorm over the western Pilbara. Chance of a shower
over the far north Kimberley.

Forecast for Monday 4 May
Light showers over the southern districts, southern Goldfields, and southern
South Interior. Chance of a shower over the far north Kimberley. Windy morning
for the Pilbara, Gascoyne and western Kimberley. Possible morning fog across
southern inland parts of the South West Land Division and the southern
Goldfields.

Forecast for Tuesday 5 May
Light showers close to the south coast and across the Eucla, eastern Goldfields
and southern South Interior. Chance of a shower over the far north Kimberley.
Windy morning for the eastern Pilbara. Possible morning fog across southern
inland parts of the South West Land Division, the southern Goldfields and Eucla.

Forecast for Wednesday 6 May
Light showers close to the south coast and across the Eucla, southern
Goldfields and southern South Interior. Chance of a shower over the far
northwest Kimberley. Windy morning for the eastern Pilbara and Northern
Interior. Possible morning fog across southern inland parts of the South West
Land Division, the southern Goldfields and Eucla.

Forecast for Thursday 7 May
Light showers close to the south coast east of Albany and across the Eucla,
southern Goldfields and southern South Interior. Apart from southern districts
windy morning for the much of the State.
