Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge extends through most of northern WA while a trough lies from the
central Pilbara through to the Goldfields. The trough will broaden over the
northwest of the State during the weekend, before weakening off and reforming
along the Pilbara coast on Monday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough sits over eastern Interior, and will continue its path east during the
afternoon and evening. A high pressure ridge will build through southern WA
during the weekend, reaching the Bight on Sunday night as a new trough begins
to deepen down the west coast. A cold front will sweep by the south coast
during Monday, dragging the west coast trough further inland.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 25 April
Chance of a shower over the northeast Gascoyne, far north and east Goldfields,
southwest South Interior and eastern Eucla, clearing during the evening.

Forecast for Sunday 26 April
Possible showers and isolated thunderstorms developing over the southwestern
Gascoyne, Central West and northwest Central Wheat Belt districts in the
afternoon and evening. Possible shower developing over the remaining western
Gascoyne later in the afternoon and evening. Morning fog possible over the
southern South West Land Division, far southern Goldfields and Eucla.

Forecast for Monday 27 April
Showers over the western and far southern Gascoyne, South West Land Division,
west and southern Goldfields. Chance of a light shower over the far western
Pilbara. Chance of thunderstorms over the western Gascoyne and northern South
West Land Division. Morning fog possible over the South West, South Coastal and
far southern Great Southern districts.

Forecast for Tuesday 28 April
Showers and chance of thunderstorms over the western and southern Gascoyne,
South West Land Division and west and southern Goldfields. Chance of a shower
over the far west Pilbara and western Eucla. Morning fog possible over the
southern South West Land Division.

Forecast for Wednesday 29 April
Showers and chance of thunderstorms over the western and southern Gascoyne,
South West Land Division, west and southern Goldfields, and western Eucla.
Chance of a shower over the far west Pilbara. Warmer over southeastern parts.
