Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge lies over the north of the State, with a trough through the Gascoyne
moving east on Thursday and lingering over the Interior. Moisture from the
tropics may form a cloud band over the Gascoyne and southern parts of the
Interior from Sunday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge sits over southern WA, with a cold front moving across the southwest on
Thursday, followed by another front on Friday. A new ridge begins developing
over the southwest from the weekend.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 22 April
Chance of a shower or thunderstorm across the northern Kimberley in the
afternoon and in the southeastern Gascoyne and adjacent Central Wheat Belt
later in the evening. Light showers developing southwest of a line Bunbury and
Windy Harbour in the afternoon and evening. Becoming windy about the southwest
coast.

Forecast for Thursday 23 April
Showers and the chance of thunderstorms over northern and eastern parts of the
South West Land Division, southern Gascoyne, southern and central Goldfields
and western Eucla. Chance of a shower across the northern Kimberley. Windy at
times over southern WA.

Forecast for Friday 24 April
Chance of a shower over the western Kimberley and coastal Pilbara. Chance of
showers and isolated thunderstorms over the very far eastern South West Land
Division, western and southern Gascoyne, Goldfields, Eucla, and adjacent South
Interior. Light showers possible, mostly morning, over the remainder of the
South West Land Division. Morning fog possible over the north and south of the
South West Land Division. Windy over eastern WA.

Forecast for Saturday 25 April
Chance of showers and thunderstorms over the southeast Gascoyne, Goldfields,
southwest South Interior, Eucla and far eastern parts of the South West Land
Division. Chance of showers over the west Pilbara and remaining Gascoyne. Light
showers possible along the remaining south coast, mostly morning. Morning fog
possible over southern districts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Sunday 26 April
Showers over the west Pilbara, Gascoyne, South West Land Division and western
Goldfields. Chance of thunderstorms over the northern and central South West
Land Division, southern Gascoyne and western Goldfields. Morning fog possible
over southern districts of the South West Land Division.
