Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough will lie over inland northern WA during the next few days while a weak
ridge extends into the west Pilbara. A ridge will start to direct an easterly
flow through the Kimberley from Thursday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge over southern WA will sink to the south coast on Thursday as a trough
develops over eastern parts of the Gascoyne and South West Land Division. A
branch of the trough will deepen back towards the lower west coast during
Thursday night and Friday before pushing inland later on Saturday. The northern
end of a cold front may pass through the southwest corner of the State on
Sunday.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 1 April
Showers and possible thunderstorms over the southwest Kimberley, far northeast
Gascoyne, inland eastern Pilbara, central Interior and far northern parts of
the Goldfields. Light showers and drizzle possible near the coast between
Augusta and Albany.

Forecast for Thursday 2 April
Showers and possible gusty thunderstorms over the far southeastern Pilbara,
eastern Gascoyne, Goldfields, southwest parts of South Interior, Eucla and
inland eastern parts of the South West Land Division. Chance of an afternoon
shower over the far north Kimberley. Light showers and drizzle about the
southern districts of the South West Land Division. Possible morning fog over
southern parts of the South West Land Division and western Kimberley.

Forecast for Friday 3 April
Showers and possible gusty thunderstorms over the eastern and southern
Gascoyne, Goldfields, western and southern South Interior, Eucla and most of
the South West Land Division. Chance of an afternoon shower over the far north
Kimberley. Possible morning fog over the northern Central West district. Windy
at times in the morning over the Interior.

Forecast for Saturday 4 April
Showers and possible gusty thunderstorms over the eastern and southern
Gascoyne, Goldfields, western and southern South Interior, Eucla and most of
the South West Land Division. Chance of an afternoon shower over the far north
Kimberley. Possible morning fog over the far southwest and northwest South West
Land Division. Windy at times in the morning over the Interior.

Forecast for Sunday 5 April
Showers and possible gusty thunderstorms over the northern and eastern
Goldfields, Eucla and south and west South Interior and eastern parts of the
South East Coastal district. Showers over the southern South West Land Division
with possible morning fog. Chance of an afternoon shower over the far north
Kimberley.
