Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad area of low pressure will persist through inland parts for the
remainder of the week.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough extending from the Gascoyne to the Goldfields will gradually move
westwards across the South West Land Division to be located near the west coast
by the weekend where it is expected to deepen. The trough will move offshore on
Sunday as a high pressure system moves into the Bight and strengthens.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 10 December
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, central and eastern
Pilbara, Interior, and northeast Gascoyne. Very hot through the southern inland
Kimberley, Interior, Pilbara, inland Gascoyne, northern Goldfields, and
northeastern inland parts of Central West. Windy at times through the Eucla and
along the south coast.

Forecast for Thursday 11 December
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, central and eastern
Pilbara, Interior, eastern Gascoyne, Goldfields, and inland and eastern parts
of the South West Land Division. Chance of a light shower about the south coast
between Windy Harbour and Bremer Bay. Very hot through the inland southern
Kimberley, Pilbara, inland Gascoyne, northern Goldfields, and inland northern
and central parts of the South West Land Division. Windy at times during the
afternoon and evening across the southern coastal districts and through western
Gascoyne and southwest Pilbara.

Forecast for Friday 12 December
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, central and eastern
Pilbara, Interior, eastern Gascoyne, Goldfields, Eucla and eastern and central
parts of the South West Land Division. Windy at times through the Eucla,
southern Interior, southern Goldfields and northeastern parts of the South West
Land Division.

Forecast for Saturday 13 December
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, Pilbara apart
from the far west, most of the Gascoyne, Goldfields and northern parts of the
South West Land Division. Very hot through northern parts of the South West
Land Division. Windy at times through central and southern parts of the state.

Forecast for Sunday 14 December
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, north and central Interior,
Pilbara, Gascoyne, north and west Goldfields and most of the South West Land
Division. Very hot over western coastal districts of the South West Land
Division, away from the south coast. Windy at times through central parts, and
across the Eucla and southern Interior in the afternoon and evening.
