Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough over the Kimberley extends west through the inland Pilbara and down
the northwest coast. The trough will be pushed northwards closer to the coast
on Monday and Tuesday as a ridge strengthens to the south. The ridge weakens
later Tuesday and Wednesday with the trough moving back inland.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure system south of the state will gradually move east towards the
Bight with a trough deepening down the west coast. The trough will move inland
later Monday, continuing to move east and reaching the Goldfields later Tuesday
and reaching the South Australian border during Wednesday. A ridge will extend
east along the south coast in the wake of the trough with a weak cold front
brushing the western south coast late Wednesday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 30 November
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, north and central Interior,
inland Pilbara, northern Gascoyne and far northern Goldfields. Very hot over
the west and central Kimberley, western Gascoyne and northern Central West
District. Windy over southeastern parts.

Forecast for Monday 1 December
Showers and gusty thunderstorms, mostly afternoon and evening, over the
Kimberley, far north Interior, Pilbara, western and central Gascoyne and
northern Central West district. Morning fog possible over the eastern South
East Coast and Eucla districts. Very hot over northwestern parts of the South
West Land Division and southwest Kimberley. Windy morning over the Interior,
inland Pilbara, Gascoyne and Central West, and over the Darling Scarp during
the morning.

Forecast for Tuesday 2 December
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley, north and
west Pilbara, Gascoyne, northern, central and eastern parts of the South West
Land Division, and western Goldfields. Possible late light shower about the
western south coast. Milder about the west coast. Windy morning over the
Interior and Eucla.

Forecast for Wednesday 3 December
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the northwest Kimberley, inland Gascoyne,
northern and eastern South West Land Division, Goldfields, adjacent western
Interior and western Eucla. Light showers southwest of Bunbury to Bremer Bay,
mostly morning. Chance of morning fog over southern coastal districts. Windy
over the Interior during the morning, and becoming windy over the Eucla later
in the day.

Forecast for Thursday 4 December
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over northeastern parts of the south West Land
Division, south and east Gascoyne, Goldfields, west and south Interior and
Eucla. Light coastal showers possible between Bunbury and Albany.
