Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extends from the inland Pilbara and into the Kimberley, and will be
pushed northwards closer to the coast on Monday and Tuesday as a ridge
strengthens to the south.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure ridge is strengthening over southern and western WA and will
become more firmly established during the weekend. A new trough will deepen
down the west coast on Sunday as the high moves towards the Bight, with the
trough moving inland late Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 29 November
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, north and central Interior,
inland southeast Pilbara, northeast Gascoyne and far northern Goldfields. Windy
over central and southeastern parts of the State.

Forecast for Sunday 30 November
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, north and central Interior,
inland Pilbara, northern Gascoyne and far northern Goldfields. Very hot over
the west and central Kimberley, western Gascoyne and northern Central West
District. Windy over central and southeastern parts of the State, and over the
Darling Scarp during the morning.

Forecast for Monday 1 December
Showers and gusty thunderstorms, mostly afternoon and evening, over the
Kimberley, north Interior, Pilbara, western and central Gascoyne and northern
Central West district. Morning fog possible over southern districts. Very hot
over northwestern parts of the South West Land Division and southwest
Kimberley. Windy morning over the Interior, inland Pilbara, Gascoyne and
Central West, and over the Darling Scarp during the morning.

Forecast for Tuesday 2 December
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley, north and
west Pilbara, Gascoyne, north, central and eastern parts of the South West Land
Division, and western Goldfields. Light showers possible along the south coast
west of Esperance. Windy morning over the Interior and Eucla.

Forecast for Wednesday 3 December
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the northwest Kimberley, Gascoyne,
northern and eastern South West Land Division, Goldfields, adjacent western
Interior and western Eucla. Windy over the Interior during the mornings, and
becoming windy over the Eucla later in the day.
