Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough lies over the Kimberley and Interior, and will branch back
towards the central Pilbara coast from Friday. Tropical Cyclone Fina located
over waters to the north of the Northern Territory may take a southwest track
through the Timor Sea or closer to the northern Kimberley coast later in the
weekend or early next week.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough extending from central parts of the state towards the west coast will
remain near stationary over the next couple of days before moving east on
Friday. Another weak trough will then extend back towards the west coast and
move inland later Saturday ahead of a high pressure ridge pushing in from the
west.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 19 November
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the South West Land Division, south and
east Gascoyne, Goldfields, and western and north Interior, with the chance of
gusty thunderstorms over the eastern Pilbara and most parts of the Kimberley.
Thunderstorms may be severe with damaging winds, heavy rainfall and large hail
over the Central West, Lower West, Central Wheat Belt and far northwest Great
Southern districts. Chance of showers over the western Eucla. Windy at times
over the Eucla and adjacent southern Interior.

Forecast for Thursday 20 November
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the South West Land Division, Goldfields,
Eucla and South Interior, moderate to heavy falls possible with thunderstorms
over central and southern parts of the South West Land Division. Chance of a
shower or gusty thunderstorm over most parts of the Kimberley, southern and far
eastern Gascoyne and North Interior. Windy at times over the southern
districts, South Interior, and Goldfields.

Forecast for Friday 21 November
Showers and thunderstorms over northern and central parts of the South West
Land Division, Goldfields, Eucla and South Interior, with the chance of a
shower or thunderstorm over the Kimberley and North Interior. Showers over
southern parts of the South West Land Division. Windy at times over the
Southern Interior and Eucla.

Forecast for Saturday 22 November
Showers over most parts of the South West Land Division, southern Goldfields,
and Eucla with thunderstorms possible over southern and central parts of the
South West Land Division and adjacent southwestern Goldfields. Chance of a
shower or thunderstorm over the Kimberley and northeastern Interior.

Forecast for Sunday 23 November
Showers and thunderstorms possible over central and eastern parts of the South
West Land Division, southern Goldfields, Eucla, far southern and eastern
Interior, and Kimberley. Showers possible over remaining parts of the South
West Land Division.
