Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough over the Interior will deepen westward into the Pilbara on Thursday. A
ridge will strengthen into the inland Pilbara and North Interior from Friday,
pushing the trough northward into the Kimberley.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough and low pressure system will weaken overnight while moving towards the
southeast, continuing into the Bight on Thursday. Another trough will pass
through the Eucla and Interior during tonight and Thursday. A high will move
eastward in the wake of these features, moving south of the State during Friday
and Saturday whilst extending a ridge through central and southern WA. A new
trough will deepen down the west coast during the weekend.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 5 November
Showers and gusty thunderstorms across much of the State, more frequent with
areas of rain across southern WA. Thunderstorms may become severe over the
central South West Land Division, Goldfields, and southwest Interior, possibly
producing heavy falls, large hail, and damaging wind gusts. Windy over central
and southern parts of the State.

Forecast for Thursday 6 November
Showers and gusty thunderstorms across Eucla, eastern Interior, southern and
eastern Goldfields, with thunderstorms contracting east during the day.
Isolated showers and thunderstorms across the eastern and northern parts of the
Kimberley. Showers over the remainder of the South West Land Division, southern
Gascoyne, and Goldfields. Windy across southeastern parts.

Forecast for Friday 7 November
Light showers over the southern parts of the South West Land Division, southern
Goldfields, Eucla and southern Interior. Showers and thunderstorms across the
Kimberley and northern parts of North Interior. Unseasonably cool over inland
southern WA.

Forecast for Saturday 8 November
Light morning showers about the South Coastal, South East Coastal, Eucla, and
southern Goldfields districts. Showers and thunderstorms across the Kimberley
and northeast Interior. Possible morning fog over the South Coastal and South
East Coastal districts. Unseasonably cool over southeast WA. Fresh and gusty
winds about the Interior. northern Goldfields, and Gascoyne in the morning.

Forecast for Sunday 9 November
Possible light shower about the Albany coast. Showers and thunderstorms across
the Kimberley, central and northern Interior, far eastern Pilbara, northeastern
Gascoyne, and far northern Goldfields. Unseasonably cool over southeast WA.
Fresh and gusty winds about the northern Interior and Gascoyne in the morning.
