Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge over the state weakens into the weekend. A broad low pressure trough
develops in the Kimberley from Friday.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge over the state weakens into the weekend as the high pressure centre
moves over the eastern states. A series of weak cold fronts will brush the far
southwest on Thursday and Friday, and again on Sunday.
Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 24 September
Mostly clear conditions across the state.
Forecast for Thursday 25 September
Mostly sunny conditions across the state, with light showers developing about
the Southwest Capes and western south coast in the late afternoon and evening.
Warm over the Gascoyne, South West Land Division, Goldfields and Eucla.
Forecast for Friday 26 September
Chance of light showers southwest of a line from Jurien Bay to Eyre, tending
more likely over the South Coastal and South East Coastal districts, and mostly
clearing during the afternoon. Possible morning fog over western parts of the
South West Land Division.Warm over the Gascoyne, Goldfields and northern Eucla.
Forecast for Saturday 27 September
Light showers about south coastal parts. Possible morning fog over southern
parts of the South West Land Division.
Forecast for Sunday 28 September
Light showers south of a line from about Lancelin to Israelite Bay.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Thursday.
