Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A high in the Bight will maintain fresh and gusty southeasterly winds
throughout, easing on Thursday.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge extends over much of Australia from a high in the Bight, with a weak
trough developing along the west coast into Thursday. A weak cold front brushes
the far southwest coast late Thursday.
Forecast for the rest of Monday 22 September
Chance of an isolated shower or thunderstorm in the far north and northwestern
Kimberley. Clear elsewhere
Forecast for Tuesday 23 September
Mostly sunny conditions across the State with the chance of a shower over the
far northwest Kimberley in the early morning. Possible morning fog over inland
parts of the south coastal districts. Warm over the western Gascoyne and
central and western South West Land Division. Fresh and gusty winds over the
Pilbara, Gascoyne, Interior and southern Kimberley.
Forecast for Wednesday 24 September
Mostly sunny conditions across the State. Possible morning fog near the Eucla
coast. Warm over the Gascoyne and South West Land Division. Fresh and gusty
winds over the Pilbara, southern Kimberley, North Interior and northwest
Gascoyne.
Forecast for Thursday 25 September
Mostly sunny conditions across the State, with light showers developing about
the Southwest Capes and western south coast in the evening. Warm over the
Gascoyne, South West Land Division, Goldfields and Eucla.
Forecast for Friday 26 September
Slight chance of light showers southwest of a line from Jurien Bay to Eucla,
tending more likely over the South Coastal and South East Coastal districts.
Warm over the Goldfields and northern Eucla.
