Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A weaken ridge lies near the Kimberley. A trough over the west Pilbara will
move east through the Pilbara on Sunday and reach the Kimberley on Monday. A
new ridge develops over the central west coast on Monday, strengthening Tuesday
and bringing a moderate to fresh southeasterly flow to the Pilbara.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A cold front over central southern parts continues to move east ahead of a
stronger cold front moving over the southwest of the state on Sunday. A ridge
then builds about the central west coast from Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 13 September
Gusty showers over the South West Land Division, mainly with the passage of a
cold front. Showers also through southern and western parts of the Gascoyne and
Goldfields, extending to the western Eucla during the evening. Thunderstorms
possible near the south coast between Walpole and Bremer Bay.

Forecast for Sunday 14 September
Gusty showers with possible damaging winds over the South West Land Division,
more frequent and with thunderstorms southwest of a line from Jurien Bay to
Lake Grace. Showers also over the Gascoyne, far west Pilbara, Goldfields, Eucla
and southwest South Interior. Chance of a thunderstorm in the Eucla and far
eastern Goldfields. Very windy through the remainder of southern and central
WA. Possible small hail in the afternoon and evening southwest of a line from
Perth to Bremer Bay.

Forecast for Monday 15 September
Showers possible southwest of Carnarvon to Kalgoorlie and over the South
Interior, more widespread about the lower west coast and south coast west of
Israelite Bay. Thunderstorms possible about exposed coastal parts of the South
Coastal district in the morning. Small hail possible through the Southwest, and
southern coastal districts, contracting eastward through the day. Windy over
southern coastal districts.

Forecast for Tuesday 16 September
Light showers southwest of a line from Jurien Bay to Bremer Bay and extending
along the south coast to Eucla. Showers most likely southwest of Perth to
Albany. Slight chance of a shower in the northern South Interior. Patchy
morning frost through inland parts of the South West Land Division and western
Goldfields. Possible morning fog through the north and west Kimberley. Fresh
and gusty winds in the morning through the Pilbara.

Forecast for Wednesday 17 September
Showers southwest of a line from Kalbarri to Israelite Bay, heavier southwest
of a line Lancelin to Bremer Bay. Patchy morning frost through the far eastern
Wheat Belt and western Goldfields. Possible morning fog through the far north
Kimberley. Windy over the western Gascoyne and South West Land Division.
