Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge over southern WA persists, with dry southeasterly winds building across
the north until next week.

A ridge sits over southern WA, and will dominant the weather pattern until next
week.
Forecast for the rest of Thursday 28 August
Light showers over the southern coastal districts and eastern Great Southern
District. Mostly clear elsewhere.
Forecast for Friday 29 August
Light showers and drizzle, mostly in the morning, over the southern coastal
districts and adjacent southeast Goldfields. The chance of morning fog and
frosts over inland southern and eastern parts of the South West Land Division,
and adjacent western Goldfields. Windy over the northern Gascoyne, Pilbara,
southern Kimberley, Interior and Eucla.
Forecast for Saturday 30 August
Chance of a shower about the Eucla coast in the morning, and about the far
southwest corner in the afternoon. The chance of morning fog and frosts over
inland parts of the South West Land Division and southern Goldfields. Possible
morning fog over the far north Kimberley. Windy over the Pilbara, southern
Kimberley, Interior and northern Gascoyne.

Light showers about the western south coast. The chance of morning fog and
frosts over inland parts of the South West Land Division, southeastern
Gascoyne, Goldfields and southern Interior. Windy over the Pilbara, southern
Kimberley and North Interior.
Forecast for Monday 1 September
Light showers about the western south coast. The chance of morning fog and
frosts over inland parts of the South West Land Division, southern Goldfields
and southern Interior. Winds easing over the Pilbara, southern Kimberley and
North Interior.
