Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge developing over southern WA will bring a southeasterly surge throughout
the week. A trough over the northern Kimberley brings light winds until
Thursday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge developing over southern parts of the State will dominate until Friday
before a strong cold front moves through on Saturday.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 29 July
Showers near the south coast. Chance of a thunderstorm about the coastal fringe
between Albany and Esperance.

Forecast for Wednesday 30 July
Light showers over the Eucla, southern South Interior, southern Goldfields, and
South East Coastal District. Chance of a shower along the remainder of the
south coast, eastern Central Wheat Belt and Great Southern. Isolated morning
frosts through the inland South West Land Division, Gascoyne, northern
Goldfields, and central Interior. Possible morning fog over the inland South
West Land Division and southern Goldfields. Cool to cold across the state south
of the Kimberley. Windy over northern and eastern parts of the state.

Forecast for Thursday 31 July
Showers about the South West Capes, Eucla and southern South Interior. Areas of
morning frosts through inland parts of the South West Land Division, southern
and eastern Gascoyne, Goldfields, and South Interior. Possible morning fog over
the inland western South West Land Division, South East Coastal district and
Eucla. Windy over northern parts of the state.

Forecast for Friday 1 August
Showers about the South West Capes extending to southwest of a line Rockingham
to Walpole during the evening. Areas of morning frosts through inland parts of
the Eucla, South Interior, Goldfields and northeast Central Wheat Belt.
Possible early fog over the northern Kimberley. Windy over northern and western
parts of the state.

Forecast for Saturday 2 August
Showers extending throughout the South West Land Division, southwest
Goldfields, western Gascoyne and far west Pilbara. Chance of a shower over the
east Pilbara in the evening. Chance of a gusty thunderstorm near the coast
between Cape Naturaliste and Walpole.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Wednesday.
