Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A weak trough lies over inland northern parts with a cold front passing through
WA. A new ridge developing over central WA early in the new week will bring
another cooler, drier wind surge from Tuesday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A cold front is moving through southern WA with an associated low pressure
system moving close to the central southern coast later Monday. A new ridge
will develop across central WA later Monday into Tuesday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 27 July
Showers over the South West Land Division, most of the Gascoyne, far west
Pilbara, and western Goldfields. Isolated gusty thunderstorms about coastal
parts between Geraldton to Albany, with possible damaging winds south of Perth.
Possible small hail south of a line Perth to Albany.

Forecast for Monday 28 July
Showers over the South West Land Division, Gascoyne, far western and southern
Pilbara, Goldfields, southern Interior and Eucla, more frequent about the south
and west coasts, and clearing northern parts during the morning. Chance of
gusty thunderstorms near the south and west coasts of the South West Land
Division. Possible small hail through central and southern parts of the South
West Land Division and southern Goldfields. Possible snow flurries over the
higher peaks of Stirling Ranges. Possible morning fog in the far northern
Kimberley and chance of patchy morning frost in the central eastern Interior.
Cold across central and southern WA. Windy across the state south of the
Kimberley, very windy along south coastal parts.

Forecast for Tuesday 29 July
Showers about west coastal parts south of Shark Bay, over south parts of South
West Land Division, southern Goldfields and Eucla, more frequent about the
south coast. Widespread morning frosts through inland parts of the South West
Land Division, Gascoyne, Goldfields, South Interior and southeast Pilbara.
Possible morning fog in the far northeast Kimberley. Cool to cold across the
state south of the Kimberley. Windy at times across the state south of the
northern Kimberley.

Forecast for Wednesday 30 July
Light showers over the Eucla, southern South Interior, southern Goldfields, and
South East Coastal District. Widespread morning frosts through inland parts of
the South West Land Division, Gascoyne, northern Goldfields, and central
Interior. Cool to cold across the state south of the Kimberley. Windy over
northern and eastern parts of the state.

Forecast for Thursday 31 July
Showers about the South West Capes, and Widespread morning frosts through
inland parts of the South West Land Division, southern and eastern Gascoyne,
Goldfields, and South Interior. Possible morning fog over the South East
Coastal district, southern Goldfields and Eucla. Windy over northern parts of
the state.
