Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
Windy conditions easing later Friday as a ridge to the south moves away and
builds over central Australia, bringing an easterly flow to the area. A weak
trough will develop over the far west Pilbara on Sunday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure system over southern WA will move into central Australia on
Friday. A cold front approaching from the west on Friday will move across the
South West Land Division on Saturday and weaken. A new ridge will extend over
southwest WA on Sunday, followed by a weak cold front brushing past the south
coast on Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 10 July
Light shower possible about the southwest coast.

Forecast for Friday 11 July
Showers developing southwest of a line Mandurah to Walpole, spreading to south
of a line Jurien Bay to Albany in the late afternoon and evening. Chance of a
gusty thunderstorm near the coastal fringe of the South West district. Morning
frosts over inland South West Land Division, eastern Gascoyne, Goldfields,
South Interior and inland Eucla. Windy in the morning over the North Interior,
inland southern Kimberley and adjacent Pilbara.

Forecast for Saturday 12 July
Showers across much of the South West Land Division, more frequent over the
western districts. Showers spreading to the southern and western Gascoyne,
southwest Goldfields and western Eucla in the late afternoon and evening.
Patchy morning frost over the southern Gascoyne, adjacent Central Wheat Belt,
northern Goldfields and South Interior.

Forecast for Sunday 13 July
Showers over the Gascoyne, Goldfields, northeastern parts of the Central Wheat
Belt, Eucla, west and south coasts of the South West Land Division. Morning fog
and frosts over inland South West Land Division.

Forecast for Monday 14 July
Showers over the Gascoyne, Goldfields, Eucla, southern Interior and across much
of the South West Land Division. Morning fog and frosts over inland southern
parts of the South West Land Division.
