Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A high pressure system moving over southern WA is directing southerly winds
across the northern half of the State, tending southeasterly on Saturday as the
high moves inland.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure system extending over southwestern parts of the State will move
inland on Saturday. A cold front embedded in a vigorous westerly flow will move
over the South West Land Division on Sunday afternoon and evening, ahead of
another front and associated cold pool on Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 4 July
Isolated showers near the south coast. Fresh southwesterly winds over the Eucla.

Forecast for Saturday 5 July
Isolated showers about the south coast and South West Capes, extending north to
Mandurah later in the day. Patchy morning frost and fog over inland parts of
the South West Land Division and the Goldfields. Patchy morning frost extending
north into the Gascoyne. Fresh and gusty southeasterly winds over the Pilbara
in the morning.

Forecast for Sunday 6 July
Showers over the South West district, increasing during the afternoon and
extending throughout the South West Land Division by midnight. Gusty showers
and thunderstorms with isolated heavy falls possible between Perth and Walpole.
Windy over the South West Land Division and adjacent Goldfields and Gascoyne
from late morning. Patchy morning frost over central and eastern parts of the
State.

Forecast for Monday 7 July
Showers over the South West Land Division, Gascoyne, Goldfields, and Eucla. The
chance of a gusty thunderstorm in coastal areas between Busselton and
Esperance. Possible small hail over southern coastal districts. Patchy morning
fog in the western Pilbara and Gascoyne. Very windy over the southern half of
the State.

Forecast for Tuesday 8 July
Showers along the west coast south of Geraldton, and along the south coast,
extending inland to much of the South West Land Division during the afternoon.
Windy through southern coastal districts, and over the western Pilbara and
Gascoyne in the morning. Patchy morning frost over inland parts of the South
West Land Division and adjacent Gascoyne and Goldfields.
