Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A high pressure system drifting across the Great Australian Bight is directing
fresh and gusty east to southeasterly winds over the area. The winds will ease
from Tuesday as the high moves away.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure system drifting east across the Great Australian Bight brings
settled weather conditions. A weak cold front will move across the far
southwest on Monday, followed by another cold front on Wednesday and into
Thursday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 29 June
Cloudy over southern parts of the State, clear elsewhere.

Forecast for Monday 30 June
Showers developing south of a line Yanchep to Albany, with lighter showers
extending inland south of a line Geraldton to Esperance during the late
afternoon and evening. A possible gusty thunderstorm near the coast between
Mandurah and Walpole. Patchy morning frost over the eastern South Interior.
Windy in the morning through the Kimberley, Pilbara and North Interior.

Forecast for Tuesday 1 July
Light showers possible over the South West Land Division, more frequent about
the southwest coast. Patchy morning frost over the South Interior.

Forecast for Wednesday 2 July
Showers over the South West Land Division. Chance of showers over the southern
Goldfields, western Eucla and southern Gascoyne. Chance of a thunderstorm near
the coast between Lancelin and Walpole. Patchy morning frost over the South
Interior.

Forecast for Thursday 3 July
Showers over the South West Land Division, southern Goldfields, western Eucla
and southern Gascoyne. Chance of showers over the remaining Gascoyne, Eucla and
far western Pilbara. Chance of a thunderstorm near the coast between Perth and
Albany. Patchy morning frost over central parts of the Interior, far southeast
Pilbara and far northeast Gascoyne.
