Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge to the south will continue to direct easterly winds across northern WA,
tending fresh and gusty during the mornings. A patchy cloud band will bring
light rainfall to parts of the Kimberley and North Interior from Wednesday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure system to south of the state will move east over the weekend. A
weak cold front will cross the southwest coast on Monday, followed quickly by a
new ridge of high pressure on Tuesday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 17 May
Light showers about the coast east of Esperance and over Eucla district.

Forecast for Sunday 18 May
Light showers about the Eucla coast, clearing during the morning. Possible
morning fog over the Eucla district. Windy over the Kimberley, Pilbara,
Gascoyne and North Interior.

Forecast for Monday 19 May
Light showers developing about the southwest coast in the morning, spreading to
southwest of a line Mandurah to Hopetoun in the afternoon and clearing in the
evening. Chance of a light shower about the coast of South East Coastal
district and Lower West district in the late afternoon and evening. Windy in
the morning over the southern Kimberley, Pilbara and North Interior.

Forecast for Tuesday 20 May
Light showers along the Eucla coast. Chance of morning frost through inland
parts of South West and adjacent Great Southern districts. Windy in the morning
over the southern Kimberley, Pilbara, North Interior and northern Gascoyne.

Forecast for Wednesday 21 May
Light showers over the Eucla and adjacent South Interior. Cloud increasing with
chance of a shower over southern Kimberley and adjacent North Interior. Windy
in the morning over the southern Kimberley, Pilbara, North Interior and
northern Gascoyne.
