Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge to the south will continue to direct easterly winds across northern WA,
tending fresh to strong and gusty during the mornings.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure system lies south of the State and will move east over the
weekend. A weak cold front will cross the southwest corner on Monday, followed
quickly by a new ridge of high pressure.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 16 May
Partly cloudy over southern and southeastern parts of the State, with isolated
light showers along the south coast.

Forecast for Saturday 17 May
Light showers about the south coast east of Esperance. Possible morning fog
over the Eucla district. Windy in the morning over the southern Kimberley,
Pilbara, northern Gascoyne and North Interior.

Forecast for Sunday 18 May
Light showers about the Eucla coast, clearing during the morning. Possible
morning fog over the Eucla district. Windy in the morning over the Kimberley,
Pilbara, Gascoyne and North Interior.

Forecast for Monday 19 May
Light showers developing southwest of a line Mandurah to Bremer Bay. Windy in
the morning over the southern Kimberley, Pilbara and North Interior.

Forecast for Tuesday 20 May
Light showers along the Eucla coast. Windy in the morning over the southern
Kimberley, Pilbara, North Interior and northern Gascoyne.
