Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge to the south will maintain easterly winds across northern parts of the
State, fresh and gusty at times in the mornings.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure ridge will persist south of the state.
Forecast for the rest of Thursday 15 May
Light showers over the coastal and eastern Eucla, clearing in the afternoon.
Chance of patchy morning fog over inland southern parts of the South West Land
Division. Windy in the morning over the Kimberley, Pilbara, northern Gascoyne
and north Interior.
Forecast for Friday 16 May
Light showers about the south coast. Possible morning fog over inland southern
parts of the South West Land Division and Eucla. Windy in the morning over the
southern Kimberley, Pilbara and North Interior.
Forecast for Saturday 17 May
Light showers about the south coast east of Albany, contracting to east of
Esperance by the afternoon. Possible morning fog over southern coastal
districts and the Eucla. Windy in the morning over the southern Kimberley,
Pilbara and North Interior.
Forecast for Sunday 18 May
Light showers about the Eucla coast clearing during the morning. Possible
morning fog over the eastern South East Coastal district and Eucla. Windy in
the morning over the Kimberley, Pilbara, northern Gascoyne and north Interior.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Thursday.
