Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough lies near the Kimberley and Pilbara coasts. A ridge over southern WA
will push the trough offshore during the mornings.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge over southern WA will persist for the remainder of the week, with a
broad trough forming near the west coast on the weekend.
Forecast for the rest of Friday 25 April
Light showers over southern coastal districts, the Great Southern and southern
parts of the Goldfields and South Interior. Wind easing across the Eucla
district.
Forecast for Saturday 26 April
Light showers near the south coast, possibly extending into the southern
Goldfields, Eucla and South Interior. Chance of morning fog over southern
coastal districts. Windy over the Pilbara, northern Gascoyne, North Interior
and far southern Kimberley.
Forecast for Sunday 27 April
Light showers over southern coastal districts. Chance of morning fog over
southern coastal districts and the Great Southern. Chance of a shower or
thunderstorm over the western Pilbara.
Forecast for Monday 28 April
Light showers near the south coast and extending into the Eucla district.
Chance of morning fog over southern coastal districts and the Great Southern.
Showers possible over the far northeast Kimberley.
Forecast for Tuesday 29 April
Isolated showers over the Eucla. Possible morning fog across the Eucla,
Southeast Coastal, eastern Great Southern and southern Goldfields. Possible
showers and thunderstorms over the northeast Kimberley. Windy across the
Pilbara, North Interior, northwest Gascoyne and southern Kimberley.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Saturday.
