Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough over western Pilbara is drifting east and will move into the Northern
Interior middle of the week. Another trough will develop over western Pilbara
on Wednesday as a ridge located offshore weakens. Another ridge through central
Australia will direct a drier easterly flow into the Kimberley from Tuesday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough over the South West Land Division is slowly moving east and will reach
the Goldfields by Tuesday. Associated cloud band will linger over southwest WA
till Tuesday. Another trough will move across the southwest coast on Tuesday
followed by a new ridge of high pressure on Wednesday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 6 April
Possible showers or gusty thunderstorms over the South West Land Division,
southwest Goldfields, southern Gascoyne, northern and central Pilbara, far
western parts of Eucla, Kimberley and adjacent Northern Interior.

Forecast for Monday 7 April
Possible showers or thunderstorms over the Kimberley, central and eastern
Pilbara, South West Land Division, inland Gascoyne, southwest Goldfields and
far western parts of Eucla. Chance of morning fog through western and southern
parts of South West Land Division.

Forecast for Tuesday 8 April
Possible showers or thunderstorms over northern and western Kimberley, central
and eastern Pilbara, southern and eastern Gascoyne, South West Land Division,
western Eucla, Goldfields and adjacent Southern Interior, more frequent about
southern Goldfields and South East Coastal district. Chance of morning fog
through southwestern parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Wednesday 9 April
Light showers over southern parts of the South West Land Division, southern and
eastern Goldfields, Eucla, northeast Gascoyne and Southern Interior. Chance of
a shower or thunderstorm over western Pilbara and southwest Kimberley. Chance
of morning fog over southern parts of South West Land Division and southwest
Goldfields.

Forecast for Thursday 10 April
Light showers over southern coastal districts, far southern Goldfields and
Eucla. Chance of a shower or thunderstorm over western Pilbara.
