Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad low pressure system will persist over the north of the State.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough is deepening down the west coast and is expected to move inland
tomorrow.
Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 5 February
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, western Interior, Pilbara
and northern Gascoyne. Possible thunderstorms, with little or no rainfall over
the remaining inland Gascoyne, northern Goldfields, western Central Wheat Belt
and adjacent Lower West and Central West districts. Very hot over most of the
State, apart from southern parts. Windy at times over southern and central
parts of the State.
Forecast for Thursday 6 February
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, inland northern
Gascoyne, southern Goldfields and the adjacent far northern Southeast Coastal
district. Possible shower over the Southern Coastal and South East Coastal
districts. Very hot over most of the State, apart from areas near the west and
south coasts.
Forecast for Friday 7 February
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley and Pilbara. Possible shower
over the South Coastal district. Very hot over most of the State, apart from
the northern Kimberley and areas near the west and south coasts.
Forecast for Saturday 8 February
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, adjacent northern Pilbara
and Northern Interior districts, and South West and South Coast districts.
Possible shower over the southwest South West Land Division. Very hot over most
of the State, apart from the northern Kimberley and areas near the west and
south coasts.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Wednesday.
