Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad low pressure trough lies over northern parts of the state.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge lies south of the State with a high pressure system moving into the
Bight during the day. A trough deepens down the west coast on from today,
before moving inland on Tuesday.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 6 January
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, central and eastern
Pilbara, eastern and southern Gascoyne, north and west Goldfields, Interior and
northern parts of the South West Land Division. Very hot over northern parts of
the South West Land Division. Windy over southern and central parts.

Forecast for Tuesday 7 January
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, central and eastern
Pilbara, eastern Gascoyne, Goldfields, Interior and South West Land Division,
apart from the Central West District. Very hot over the inland northern parts
of the South West Land Division and Goldfields. Windy over southern and central
parts, mostly in the morning.

Forecast for Wednesday 8 January
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, central and eastern
Pilbara, far northeastern Gascoyne, southern and eastern Goldfields, Interior,
Eucla and eastern South West Land Division. Very hot over the north and eastern
Goldfields and Eucla.

Forecast for Thursday 9 January
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, central and eastern
Pilbara, far northeastern Gascoyne and Interior.
