Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad area of low pressure lies over northern WA.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough is moving east over central and southern WA. A ridge will begin to
move over the west coast on Saturday before extending east, along the south
coast, during Sunday and Monday. A weak cold front will cross the southwest
corner of the State on Sunday morning.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 13 December
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, northern and western
Interior, Pilbara, Gascoyne, Goldfields, western Eucla and eastern parts of the
South West Land Division. Possible heavy falls and damaging wind gusts with
thunderstorms over inland parts.

Forecast for Saturday 14 December
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, Pilbara, inland
Gascoyne, Goldfields, Eucla and eastern parts of the South East Coastal
district. Possible heavy falls with thunderstorms over inland parts. Light
showers along the south coast. Hot over eastern parts of the South West Land
Division, southern Goldfields and Eucla. Possible morning fog over inland
southern parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Sunday 15 December
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, Pilbara,
northeast Gascoyne, eastern Goldfields and Eucla. Light showers southwest of a
line Lancelin to Bremer Bay. Windy at times over southern and central WA.

Forecast for Monday 16 December
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, central and
eastern Pilbara, and far northeast Gascoyne. Light showers about the south
coast. Windy at times over eastern and central WA.

Forecast for Tuesday 17 December
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, North Interior and
northern parts of the Gascoyne and South Interior. Windy at times over eastern
and central WA. Hot again over the South West Land Division.
