Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad area of low pressure extends over the Pilbara, Kimberley and North
Interior.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A deep trough near the west coast is expected to move inland during today, with
the associated low pressure system moving into the Bight. A ridge of high
pressure will develop over southwest WA by Friday, extending over southern WA
over the weekend. A new trough will develop about the west coast on Sunday.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 21 November
Mostly sunny over western Pilbara and northwest Gascoyne. Showers over
remainder of the state, gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior,
central and eastern Pilbara, northeastern Gascoyne, Goldfields, Eucla and
inland South West Land Division.

Forecast for Friday 22 November
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, central and eastern
Pilbara, Interior, northeast Gascoyne, eastern Goldfields, Eucla and South East
Coastal district. Chance of showers over the South West Land Division and
Goldfields.

Forecast for Saturday 23 November
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara, northern
and eastern Interior, and eastern Eucla. Chance of showers over the
southeastern parts of the South West Land Division, southern Goldfields, and
Eucla.

Forecast for Sunday 24 November
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, central and eastern
Pilbara, northeastern Gascoyne, and North Interior. Chance of showers over the
southern Eucla.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Thursday.
