Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad area of low pressure extends over the Pilbara, Kimberley and North
Interior.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A strong ridge is developing along the south coast. A trough and associated low
pressure system will develop near the west coast later Sunday, deepening early
next week.
Forecast for the rest of Sunday 17 November
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, inland Pilbara,
inland Gascoyne, northern Goldfields, Central West and northern parts of the
Central Wheat Belt districts. Windy over the Gascoyne, Central West and central
Interior.
Forecast for Monday 18 November
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, central and
eastern Pilbara, eastern Gascoyne and northern Goldfields. Chance of a shower
or thunderstorm over the South West Land Division.
Forecast for Tuesday 19 November
Partly cloudy over far eastern parts of the South Interior and eastern Eucla.
Showers and gusty thunderstorms elsewhere.
Forecast for Wednesday 20 November
Partly cloudy over far eastern parts of the North Interior, South Interior and
eastern Eucla. Showers and gusty thunderstorms elsewhere.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Sunday.
