Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad area of low pressure extends over the Pilbara, Kimberley and North
Interior.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A strong ridge is developing along the south coast. A trough extending from the
Gascoyne to the South Interior is moving east and will eventually clear the
state by Sunday. A trough and associated low pressure system will develop near
the west coast on Sunday, deepening early next week.
Forecast for the rest of Saturday 16 November
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, inland Pilbara,
inland Gascoyne, northern Goldfields, Eucla and northern parts of Central West
district. Chance of a shower along the south coast. Cooler over southern half
of the state. Windy at times over southern and central parts of the state.
Forecast for Sunday 17 November
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, inland Pilbara,
inland Gascoyne, northern Goldfields, Central West and northern parts of
Central Wheat Belt districts. Windy over the Gascoyne, Central West and central
Interior.
Forecast for Monday 18 November
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, central and
eastern Pilbara, inland Gascoyne, northern and central Goldfields. Chance of a
shower or thunderstorm over the South West Land Division. Slight chance of a
shower over northern Eucla.
Forecast for Tuesday 19 November
Partly cloudy over far eastern parts of the South Interior and eastern Eucla.
Showers and thunderstorms elsewhere.
