Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extends from the central Pilbara and into the North Interior, with
another trough extending into the Kimberley. A ridge building to the south will
bring fresh southwesterly winds to the western Pilbara at times.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure ridge extends along the south coast. A surface trough will
deepen just inland from the west coast this morning and moves east over central
parts later in the day, before moving out of the state on Saturday. A new broad
trough will lie over the Gascoyne and Central West district over the weekend.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 8 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior and far east Pilbara.
Possible showers over the southeast Gascoyne, South West Land Division,
Goldfields and Eucla, with the chance of thunderstorms over northern parts of
the South West Land Division and southwest Goldfields. Windy at times through
central and northwestern parts. Very hot over the inland parts of the north of
the State.

Forecast for Saturday 9 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior and east Eucla. Possible
showers over the South East Coastal District, southeast Goldfields and
remaining Eucla. Chance of a thunderstorm over the western Eucla and northeast
South East Coastal district. Slight chance of a light shower about the
remaining south coastal fringe. Windy at times through central and southeastern
parts. Very hot for inland parts of the Kimberley and east Pilbara, and
Northern Interior.

Forecast for Sunday 10 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and north and east Interior.
Possible showers over southeastern parts of the South West Land Division,
southern Goldfields and Eucla. Chance of a thunderstorm over the eastern
Central Wheat Belt and southern Goldfields. Slight chance of a light shower
about the remaining south coastal fringe. Becoming windy over central and
southeastern parts. Very hot for inland parts of the Kimberley and east
Pilbara, and Northern Interior.

Forecast for Monday 11 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and eastern Interior. Possible
showers over far southern parts of the South West Land Division, southeast
Goldfields and Eucla, Very hot for inland parts of the Kimberley and east
Pilbara, and Northern Interior.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Friday.
