Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extends from the inland Kimberley to the northern Interior. A new
trough is developing about the west Pilbara coast and will slowly move inland
on the weekend. Meanwhile, a cloud band over the North Interior will slowly
contract east over the next couple of days.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough is over inland western parts of the South West Land Division and is
moving east. The next ridge will develop slowly across the central west coast
over the weekend. A weak cold front will move over far southwest parts on
Monday. Meanwhile, a cloud band over the Interior is moving east slowly and
brings unseasonal rain to the region, easing during today.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 12 October
Showers and chance of a thunderstorm over the eastern parts of the South West
Land Division, southern Goldfields, Eucla, South Interior, southwestern part of
North Interior and far eastern part of Pilbara. Chance of showers over the
southern and west coastal parts of the South West Land Division and northern
Kimberley. Very hot through the Kimberley and very warm over the inland South
West Land Division, cooler about the west coast. Windy in the morning through
eastern Interior.

Forecast for Sunday 13 October
Light morning showers or drizzle possible over the South West, South Coastal
and southern parts of Great southern. Showers and chance of a thunderstorm over
the southern Goldfields, eastern South East Coastal, western Eucla. Chance of
an afternoon shower over the northern and western Kimberley. Chance of morning
fog over inland parts of the Central West district. Very hot through the
southern Kimberley, very warm over inland northern parts of the South West Land
Division.

Forecast for Monday 14 October
Showers over southern and western parts of the South West Land Division. Chance
of showers and thunderstorms over the far eastern South East Coastal district,
far southeast Goldfields and Eucla, clearing by the afternoon. Chance of an
afternoon shower over the northern Kimberley. Chance of morning fog over the
inland southern and central parts of the South West Land Division. Very hot
through the southern Kimberley, very warm over eastern parts of the South West
Land Division.

Forecast for Tuesday 15 October
Light showers over the western and southern parts of the South West Land
Division, clearing by afternoon. Chance of an afternoon shower over the
northern Kimberley. Very hot through the southern Kimberley.
