Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A strong high pressure system south of WA continues to direct east to southeast
winds across the region. A trough lies near the west Kimberley and Pilbara
coasts.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A strong high pressure system lies well south of the State and is moving slowly
east. A low pressure trough lies near the west coast and will persist through
the weekend.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 14 September
Isolated light showers along the south coast east of Walpole. Warm temperatures
continuing near the west coast. Fresh and gusty morning winds over the western
Kimberley, Pilbara and Perth hills.

Forecast for Sunday 15 September
Light showers along the south coast east of Albany, extending to inland parts
of the South East Coastal and Eucla districts and the southern Goldfields.
Windy at times over central and southeastern parts of the State, and over the
Perth hills in the morning. Warm temperatures persisting near the west coast.

Forecast for Monday 16 September
Dry conditions across most of the State with just a light shower or two over
eastern parts of the Kimberley and Interior. Windy at times over the Pilbara,
Gascoyne, Interior, northern Goldfields and southern Kimberley. Warmer
temperatures persisting near the west coast.

Forecast for Tuesday 17 September
Dry conditions across most of the State with possible showers over the central
and eastern Kimberley. Windy at times over the Pilbara, Gascoyne, Interior and
Kimberley. Warmer temperatures persisting near the west coast. Possible morning
fog through southern districts between Busselton and Esperance.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Saturday.
