Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A weak trough is developing across the Pilbara. A high pressure ridge extending
through central WA will direct a southerly wind change over the Pilbara that
will push this trough northwards to the Kimberley over the weekend. The trough
will extend back over the Pilbara early next week as the ridge moves away.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge is currently moving over central and southern parts of the state,
lasting until the end of the weekend. The ridge will shift east on Monday,
allowing a west coast trough to form.
