Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure to the south is bringing a southeasterly flow to
northern parts over the next couple of days. A weak trough should persist over
the Kimberley through to the weekend.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A series of cold fronts will move across southwest of WA this evening and
tomorrow. A new ridge will then develop over southern WA on Thursday and Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 7 August
Showers southwest of a line from Carnarvon to Forrest. Gusty thunderstorms and
moderate to heavy falls possible southwest of Perth to Walpole, with gusty
thunderstorms extending east along the south coast to Esperance.

Forecast for Thursday 8 August
Chance of light showers over the South West Land Division and eastern Eucla,
contracting to coastal parts during the afternoon. Possible morning fog over
the inland South West Land Division.

Forecast for Friday 9 August
Chance of light showers southwest of Lancelin to Bremer Bay.

Forecast for Saturday 10 August
Showers developing southwest of a line Geraldton to Bremer Bay.
