Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge over the north of the State is moving east. A cold front will move over
the south of the State during Tuesday and Wednesday. In the wake of the cold
front, a new high pressure ridge should become established over central WA.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A cold front over the State’s southwest will move further north and east on
Tuesday and Wednesday. A high pressure ridge is then expected to push across
the mid-west coast in the wake of the front.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 23 July
Showers southwest of a line from Onslow to Eucla, tending to rain areas over
northern agricultural areas and the Goldfields during the day. Chance of
thunderstorms over the Lower West and Central West coasts during the morning
and southern Gascoyne during the day. Possible small hail about the coast
between Augusta and Albany.

Forecast for Wednesday 24 July
Showers south of Onslow to Giles. Possible small hail about the south coast,
west of Israelite Bay. Chance of morning fog and frosts over the inland parts
of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Thursday 25 July
Showers over the South West Land Division, and southwestern Goldfields. Showers
also possible over the Central Interior. Chance of morning fog and frosts over
the eastern Gascoyne, northeastern Central Wheat Belt, northern Goldfields,
northern Eucla, and southern Interior.

Forecast for Friday 26 July
Showers over the South West Land Division, southern Goldfields, and Eucla.
Showers also possible over the northern Kimberley. Chance of morning frosts
over the northeastern Gascoyne, northern Goldfields, and South Interior.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Tuesday.
