Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough lies near the Pilbara coast which will be pushed offshore over the
weekend as a ridge develops over central parts of the State.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge continues to develop over central parts of the State, allowing a
westerly flow with embedded weak troughs to continue over southwest WA this
weekend. Another cold front will move through far southwest parts of the State
Monday evening and further north and east on Tuesday

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 20 July
Showers southwest of Jurien Bay to Hopetoun. Chance of morning frosts over far
northeast parts of the South West Land Division, southeast Gascoyne, Goldfields
and southern Interior. Tides will be higher than normal with hazardous surf for
coastal activities between Cape Leeuwin and Eucla.

Forecast for Sunday 21 July
Showers southwest of Jurien Bay to Esperance. Chance of morning fog and frosts
over the southeast Gascoyne, northern Goldfields and southern Interior. Tides
will be higher than normal with hazardous surf for coastal activities between
Cape Leeuwin and Eucla.

Forecast for Monday 22 July
Showers over southwest parts of the South West Land Division extending to
southwest of a line from Denham to Esperance later in the day. Chance of a
thunderstorm about the South West Capes late afternoon and evening. Chance of
morning fog and frosts over the southeast Gascoyne, northern Goldfields and
southern Interior.

Forecast for Tuesday 23 July
Showers southwest of a line from Onslow to Eucla. Chance of thunderstorms over
the southeast Gascoyne. Possible small hail about the coast between Augusta and
Albany.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Saturday.
